The Rally

Over 1,000 people gathered in Sydney on 2 August to take their fight against the NSW Premier’s proposed ban to end greyhound racing to Parliament House, presenting over 35,000 petitions to revoke the ban to the NSW Opposition Leader.

Labor Opposition Leader, Luke Foley, Leader of the Christian Democrats, Rev Hon. Fred Nile and the Hon Robert Borsak, MLC of the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party were among the selection of speakers who addressed the audience supporting the fight against the Premier’s proposed ban to end greyhound racing.

The rally signifies an imperative stage in the NSW Greyhound Racing Alliance’s campaign to fight the Premier’s ban, further increasing pressure on the NSW Government to give the industry a fair go.
